What to Know Before Your Reiki Session
Hello! I am so glad you’re on this journey seeking a happier, healthier version of you, and grateful for you putting your trust in me ❤️
I want to give you some guidelines to help you receive the most out of the session.
(None of these are a requirement, but a suggestion to ensure a deeper relaxation and receiving of the Reiki energy)
12 hours before your session: avoid alcohol, recreational drugs, and highly processed foods
3 hours before your session: avoid heavy meals, and caffeine (ideally, the body’s energy isn’t focused on digestion or unnecessary increased heart rate and adrenaline)
Wear comfortable clothing for the session: you want to avoid feeling constricted or distracted
Think / meditate / journal on how you want this session to support you: What is your intention? Whether you're just curious about what Reiki is, you are experiencing a blockage in your life, you are seeking stress relief, or one of many more possible reasons - there is no right or wrong. You have been drawn to Reiki for a reason.
Drink lots of water beforehand: Helps fluidity and the removing of toxins
